Συμμετοχή του ΕΣΜΥΕ στην έκθεση RENEXPO INTERHYDRO, Salzburg 29 – 30 Νοεμβρίου 2018

Στις 29 – 30 Νοεμβρίου 2018 στο Salzburg της Αυστρίας θα διεξαχθεί η έκθεση RENEXPO INTERHYDRO, στην οποία ο ΕΣΜΥΕ είναι υποστηρικτής (non-financial-supporter) και στην οποία θα συμμετέχουμε παρουσιάζοντας την κατάσταση των ΜΥΗΕ στην Ελλάδα.

Παράλληλα, στα πλαίσια της έκθεσης θα διεξαχθούν και δύο ακόμα εκδηλώσεις, που αφορούν αποκλειστικά στα ΜΥΗΕ: 

  1. The 3rd European Hydropower Association Meeting, Thursday, November 29th

This meeting brings together the small and the large hydropower sector. Objective is to inform representatives about the political opportunities at EU and national levels, to promote the interests of the European hydropower sector and show what national associations can do to support this. The aim is to establish a network of European, national and regional decision-makers, which provides information to its members and the public as well as influences EU water policies and legislation in a targeted and coordinated manner.

Representatives of VGB Power Tech e.V., Eurelectric aisbl and EREF SHP Chapter will present the joint policy work at EU and national levels with a special focus on the water Framework Directive as well as the Horizon 2020 project Hydropower-Europe and its importance for the hydropower sector.

  1. The EREF’s annual small hydropower workshop, Friday, November 30th.

The workshop will start with a closed meeting for EREF members, the 2nd part is open also to non-EREF members. Especially for EREF members, there will be the opportunity to exchange the latest developments and talk about the future strategy to strengthen the small hydropower sector.

The 2nd part with the interactive Workshop will provide an overview on the new legislation and its impact on the EU hydropower sector. Experts will assess the potential impact on the operation modus of hydropower plants and potential new business models.
